MAFT Canada is an aircraft fire training business, created in 2011. We train and re-certify annually, airport firefighters in western Canada. We also are involved in semi-annual aircraft emergency exercises at airports as requested. MAFT Canada utilizes a Kidde manufactured Mobile Aircraft Fire Trainer (MAFT) in order to supply annual live fire training and re-certification. The prop can replicate small and large fuel spill fires, wheel brake, engine, APU and interior fires for the firefighters to extinguish.
Additionally, we can escalate to scenarios where several different fires can take place, and the fire crews can practice their communications, tactics and techniques. The firefighters get to use their own equipment which aids in familiarization. MAFT also has a program to train municipal structural fire departments, with an airport in their jurisdiction, so they can be prepared and knowledgeable in the event of an incident at their airport.

Emergency Exercises
The Mobile Aircraft Fire Trainer will add realism to your emergency exercises.
The entire scenario gets played out from the initial dispatch and fire suppression, to communications, search, rescue, triage and transportation of the casualties to hospital. It is a great tool to test your refine your teams capabilities.
